As human beings, we do not have the capacity to love. We are only able to love each other because, first of all, we are loved by God. Galatians chapter 5 is a famous passage about the “fruit of the Spirit”. The first part of the passage says “The fruit of the Spirit is Love”. When God gives us the Holy Spirit, He fills us with Love. When God breaths His Spirit into your relationship, it is prepared for success.
A relationship is a close connection between two people, especially one involving romantic feelings. For couples in long-term relationships, love means loyalty and commitment. From the first book of the Old Testament, Genesis, God tells the story of Adam and Eve. He created woman from man so the two could love in a loving partnership forever. As humans, we were meant to share our lives with one another, and there are tons of Bible verses about relationships to prove just that.
The Lord places love and loving relationship in the highest regard, and we see that in his relationship with his son Jesus too. With these Bible verses God’s love is the only love that never falter and never fails.
